Mandatory Liability Insurance - Summary

Check Free Pay cash payment will allow customers to make their MLI payment by walking into one of the many payment locations and paying using the voucher given from the MLI website.

You can pay with a credit card, or by using the Check Free Pay cash option.

How Check Free Pay Works:

  • To pay with cash, select 'Voucher' after you add to cart. Once you have the payment voucher, you can find a convenient bill-pay location at https://www.checkfreepay.com.
  • Customers will be able to pay the amount shown on the voucher in cash at a bill-pay location.
  • Payment vouchers will be valid for 3 days after issuance. Failure to pay the voucher during that time will require the customer to request a new voucher or pay by credit card. ALEA will not allow a credit card payment to be made if there is an outstanding CheckFreePay voucher for the same MLI penalty.
